The short version

You make a page. It is yours. Do not use it to hurt anyone or to pretend to be someone you are not. We keep it online and try not to get in your way.

Who can use this

You must be 18 or over. One page per purchase.

Your page belongs to you

You keep ownership of everything you write and upload. You give us permission to store it and to show it to people who visit your page — which is simply what it means to host a website for you. We will not use your photos or words to advertise this service without asking you first.

Your web address

You choose an address and it is yours while your account is active. You can change it, but anything already printed with the old address in writing will stop working — your QR code will not, which is why we suggest printing the code rather than the address.

We may reclaim an address that impersonates someone, infringes a trademark, or was registered in bulk. [Decide: how long is a released address held before someone else can take it? Proposed: 90 days.]

Paying

Payment is handled by Shopify. [Decide and state: what the price buys, whether hosting is included indefinitely or renews, and what happens at the end.] We will not start charging you for something that was free without telling you first.

Printed things

Cards and merchandise are printed with your own QR code, specifically for you. Because they are personalised they cannot be returned or resold, so we cannot accept returns once printing has started — except where something is faulty or wrong, in which case we will replace it. You approve the artwork before anything is printed.

[Legal review needed: this is the EU right-of-withdrawal exemption for personalised goods, and it depends on this disclosure being shown before purchase.]

Ending it

You can delete your page or your account whenever you want. We can suspend a page that breaks the content rules, and will tell you why unless doing so would put someone at risk.

What we do not promise

We will keep this running as well as we can, but we cannot promise it is never down. We cannot promise you will meet anyone. If something goes wrong and it is our fault, our responsibility is limited to what you paid us. [Legal review — liability wording must match Swiss law and cannot remove rights consumers have by default.]

Law

[Swiss law, courts of [canton]. Confirm with a lawyer, including how this interacts with EU consumer rights for customers in the EU.]
